would still take

You guys notice Rich Rod is no longer wearing the red wrist bands?  Addition by subtraction, he looked like a dork.

Also Legit Elite is far from elite, kind of a fuckhead fucktard face.  Retrospect is fantastic, the fact that we are just mauled Miami doesn't change the fact that Louisiana-Lafayette & '10 North Texas happened.  We had some awful losses those first two years and that coupled with '04 & '05 people were well within reason to be very concerned.  While you are breaking your arm giving yourself a reach around don't forget that the cog of these current good times is here courtesy of Bad Ronald.
Soooo much butthurt.  North Texas '10 happened?  You mean the game we won, on the road, to secure a bowl bid, and for the first time in four years?  You speak of it like it was some sort of tragedy.

As for the Louisiana game.  That was game #2 of HCBS return if I recall correctly.  C'mon man just man up and support your hall of fame coach who is doing a tremendous job.  I do give you credit for at least surveying your side of the argument.

Don't give me this support your coach bullshit, I've been at BSFS for every game since he's returned, have you?  I had one post in your little trip down memory lane and that one post didn't reference Snyder.  Yeah the '10 UNT game was a tragedy.  We gave up 41 points and 300 rushing yards to a 3 win Sun Belt team.  I wasn't surveying my side of anything I was pointing out that your little game of retrospect is bullshit.  If you were interested you could find just as many threads pointing out disturbing trends and similarities to '04 & '05, like I'm sure someone pointed out that in '04, '05, '09, & '10 Snyder didn't have a QB.  It is also obvious that many of the posters that had issues with Snyder had issues with the fact that he allowed Chris Cosh to crap all over the program, were they wrong about that?

Also, how many players on the current roster were recruited by RP?  Maybe a few of the seniors and the 5th year guys?

Klein

legit elite is on the ropes, fellas.  stay tuned!
False.  Let me ask the question again.  How many players on the current roster are RP recruits?

I was being accused of  "breaking (my) arm giving (my)self a reach around."  Hell I usually wait until the evening to give myself the reach around.

Where is the cog?  I demand to see it!

Anybody who wasn't beside himself after the North Texas game in '10 is either lying, or doesn't care about football.

That game was an absolute atrocity.

I mean, the game was already ridiculous.

And then back-to-back kickoff returns for TDs just put me over the edge.  It didn't even feel like we were playing football at that point.

671 combined rushing yards! North Texas averaged 9 (NINE!) yards per carry!

It was ridiculous.

I had never been more mad after any game I don't think.  I was madder after the UNT win than I was after the Lafayette loss.

That's fair. Even the most ardent Snyder defender has to admit the guy has broken a bunch of trends in college football coaching in regards to coming back, his age, and the lack of success his first couple of years.

But you also have to give credit for finding a way to turn things around.

Its a strange thing really.

I have no idea how the hell it happened. It's fun to point and laugh at steve dave and my posts back then, but NO ONE thought we would have the season we had last year (save DLew).

Yeah, I'm always initially surprised at how short these so-called "embarrassing" threads are, but then I remember that we would have rough ridin' destroyed anyone that questioned us and it scared folks off. You can still smell the fear of those who (wisely) chose not to rise up against us when you go back and read those threads.
