He basically said there's a real lack of leadership without Collin around. Says Waters and himself are not very "vocal." Guess he was implying Blake is the leader of the defense.

So I wonder why Snyder is having him do media. Maybe he wants him to be more leader-ish.

i just want to hold young daniel in my arms and tell him that everything is going to be ok.  i want to cradle him and tell him that sometimes the lesser team wins (even i lose, like when i rode the sds.com bandwagon).  but he knows these things and he's going to be just fine - so are the go KSUs.

Sams needs to start.  That's the only way 5-7 is still exciting.

That rough rider just pretty much said Sams is garbage and that Waters should be playing all the time. He said the offense is a mess when Sams is in.  :curse:

One more time for all the slow learners. When Snyder figures out what he has in Jake Waters, look out.

I think it's obvious that BITB is secretly a HUGE Sams fan.

great start for BITB. chiefs haven't proven they're a good team yet, the games have been too close to really know.

Agreed.

The way Steve Dave sits and meticulously takes notes on Stan's comments is amazing.

- Missouri has a chance to beat uga, they have confidence, Henry Josey is back, offensive weapons. pass rush is good, important vs georgia.

- Stan talks a lot. Holy crap.

- BITB: What kind of shockwave would it send through the SEC if in the first two years A&M won a Heisman and Mizzou won their division?
Stan: Denial. If the Big 12 style works that would mean a lot. They're converting how the SEC plays football. This is basically a Big 12 team going to play a SEC team.

- Only 2 minutes left for the other two games because Stan talks so rough ridin' much. Do the Jayhawks have a chance? Only reason they do is because it's 11 am and TCU doesn't want to score. TCU is like the Chiefs. Stan is talking more.

- Cats vs Baylor - RGIII came in here two years ago lighting it up, Kstate held them to 35 points and somehow won a game. Why does Baylor have so much success at home and suck so much on the road? Baylor has not played anybody good this year. K-State may not be good enough to stop Baylor but they're the first team to play them that has any brains at all.

- BITB will be at the Hen House baking his mom a cherry pie tomorrow because the Royals won more than 80 games.

Did you hear when Stan said basically "West Virginia played stupid on D, the Cats are the 1st team with a brain Baylor has faced."

This team is a lot of things, but it ain't smart.

The implication is being sound in our schemes, and I think that is potentially true. Hayes has been a solid DC and only once has an opponent scored more than their season PPG average against us. Of course, that was last year's Baylor team. On average teams score nearly 12 points less than their average PPG against Hayes led defenses at K-State.
