The Ninja blender

Excellent. I've always wanted a blender that didn't just have tiny blades at the bottom that made shakes and stuff all unevenly blended, and now I have one.

The Ninja.

Great premise, food processor and blender in one.  Does it work well?  Looks (and is priced) a bit cheap.  Thoughts?

Well, I haven't gotten too risky with it yet, but so far it's dominated a couple shakes (strawberry and mint oreo).

Shakes?   Pretty sure you could do that with a damn spoon.  Throw some ice in that thing and see if it really makes snow.

My old tiny-blade-in-the-bottom-of-the-container blender couldn't make shakes for sh*t, so, go Ninja go Ninja go.

Should I buy one?  Worth cleaning it everyday if I want to make smoothies?
