Thought Scheme Dr.'s favorite play is the option.  Isn't that what CK does 75% of the time.

I was thinking more of the off tackle option and option pass rather than the read option.  Sorry was having flashbacks and secretly hoping that CKQB will start averaging 300+ through the air.
The option only works, no matter what type, when the man behind the center is a stud athlete.  I think that is why it is very hit and miss at KSU with Synder's love of the option.  CK is the perfect option QB.
Hot time in Kat town tonight.

Football in no particular order:

1989 North Texas State:
Touchdown to win it on the last play of the game.  LHFHCBS first victory.  Broke the 29 game
non-winning streak.  I know it was a 1 AA team but the emotion in that stadium was at a level
that I have not seen since.  I had been EMAW since birth but that was when I realized what it meant.

1993 Weiser Lock Copper Bowl:
First ever bowl win.  You would have thought we won the NC.

1998 Nub:
Great football game.   Ended a 30 game losing streak to them.  It was like the weight of the world had
been lifted off the backs of EMAW.

1998 Texas:
Held Heisman thief to 40 something yards.  Wonder if he still sees the number 8 when he has bad dreams?

1994 at OU:
Watching the land thieves file out in the middle of the 3rd quarter is a sight forever burned in my memory.
Also, "Fire Gibbs" airplane banner was classic.

Basketball:

1993 OU:
"We'll beat the crap out of them in Norman!"

1994 KU:
Great game but final result sucked.  Woodberry hitting the late shot over Henson 2 was a supreme KITN.

BYU NCAA:
One of the greatest nights of my life.

Not many memorable games as I was there through mostly Asbury/Wooly tenure.  Know I saw some great games with A Beane and the Cardiac Cats, but was usually pretty pak'd so nothing really stands out.

1. (fb) 2003 Big XII Championship game - 4th row, on OU side, don't remember the 4th quarter. couldn't talk for days
2. (bb) 2008 "The Streak is Dead" game. high fived billy walker before the game. stormed the court. cried.
3. (fb) 2006 Cats stomp Texas, rushed the field. hugged sweaty people.
4. (fb) 2006 Cats beat CU - no rushing the field, but CU/Boulder was amazing and we body surfed Jim Knox and he chugged a beer with us.
5. (bb) 2003-04 BEating #11 Texas at home and rushing the court (see a theme here?) there were like 1000 students at the game, but it was one of the craziest 2nd halfs of bball i remember.

Don't know about the other four, but USC 02 by far. Night game in September against a really good team.

The all juco qb threw what would have been apick six to Polamalu but he dropped it. Snyder had seen enough and decided he was going to Ell.

Sproles was just nasty that game.

Newman was just absurd returning a blocked PAT.

Pretty sure it wasn't a night game.
