the texas game where prince called for 2 trick plays.  such a big LOL moment.  that was the loudest game i've ever been at (wasn't at the ou game that everyone says was really loud)

5:28 mark of "the birth"
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

My fondest memory is still the 1991 KSU-KU game in MHK. It was such a struggle. And then, under duress, Paul Watson tosses (what appeared to be) a duck into the air:

and out of nowhere it landed in Andre Coleman's hands and he took it in for the game winning touchdown.

There were a lot of tense moments as the Cats had to produce a goal line stand to win. I'll never forget that day. That's when I knew things would be different for the K-State Cats.

Football:
03 Dr. Pepper—Camped out to pay $70 for a ticket. Lost my stub on the way in, had to pay another $20 to get one from some OU fans. Did not sit with them.
03 @Nebraska—Jamal Lord and Ell. Bo and Bill. High drama.
97 Fiesta Bowl—bought a Fiesta Bowl champs shirt and wore it to the game.  Suck it, ‘Cuse.
97 Colorado—Cold day. Basically clinched Fiesta, lots of flying tortillas, first LHCBS win over Buffs. I think Cephus Scott had a pick. What a great name for a safety.
02 USC Crowd surfed from row two to the top of GA. I was a freshman and didn’t know guys weren’t supposed to.
HM: 06 CTR

Basketball:
08 KU
06 @KU. H5ed Wooly and Lance. Saw Christian Moody accessorizing in Claire’s on Mass St. afterward
04 Texas-top 10 win for Wools, first really good win I saw at OOD
07 Mizzou—good home win for Huggs, torn-ament hopes high!
10 Mizzou—Ugly win. Denis had sweet Kobe shoes.

2. Texas A&M, football, 12 - 4OT thriller.
3. Baylor, football, 12 - "Intercepted by Arthur Brown!"
4. Texas, basketball, 10 - "Don't rush the court!"
5. Nebraska, football, 08 - First time I ever saw a game inside LHC Bill Snyder Family Stadium. You never forget your first.

Games I most wish I would have seen:
Dr. Pepper 03
Xavier in the 2010 tourney... although I have to admit Aggieville was pretty great that night

5. tie between 03 dr Pepper and 1998 Nebraska was just a little to young to remember fully and 2003 i had been involved in a crop spraying accident and couldn't see anything. still badass to be there though. dad talked me thru the whole game.

How was your DH5 accuracy during this game?  I mean you know how they say blind people compensate by using their other senses more.
thats how my nose was broken. dad got in the zone, forgot i was blind to the celebrations, he yelled eff YEAH and initiated the DH5 but by that point it was to late, i tried to get the hands up, but he caught me full palm square in my face, and i started gushing blood.
he then told me to man up, and that not even my grandmother was such a bleeder, which is ironic.

I also stuck around for that one, as it was the only game I got to see live that season.  My first year away from the little apple, and return visit.  After Freemaw orchestrated that amazing comeback, I just knew he was going to win the Heisman at some point.  Prince had other plans :(

HOW IS IT THAT NO ONE WENT TO 35-7?!?!?!?!?!?
I remember a lot of students not going because they thought we were going to get our ass kicked anyway and tickets were $60 or $70 I think.  I went because I figured we may never get back and I was graduating the next year.

I went to that priceless game, where OU fans stood over the entrances calling out that "K-State is for pussies".  BTW, see my earlier post of top 5 games:
1.  2003 Dr. Pepper
2.  2002 K-State vs. KU in Lawrence football game
3.  2010 "    "
4.  2011 "    "
5.  1982 KU vs. K-State in Manhattan

True story:  I rode to the game with neighbors who were OU fans, and asked if their fans had anything similar to the ridiculous corn cob hat worn by Nub fans.  They emphatically denied that OU had ridiculous hats like that.  We pull into the parking lot a Arrowhead, and the first thing I see is an OU fan wearing one of those ridiculous conestoga wagon hats--asked my neighbors, "Really?".  My seats were in a section largely held by OU fans, and they were pretty obnoxious up to the point when Ell hit Brian Casey for that 2nd TD.

Colder than a witches tit, but glad I bought those tickets.

that was a great game.

I remember that OSU had two at the endzone with like 10 seconds left in the game. Instead of trying to run a play to the sidelines to try and get closer, they threw two hail mary's from like 20 yards away and Watts intercepted the last one.

1) Dr. Pepper. 2nd KSU cats game ever attended in person. Seats right behind obnoxious land grabbers on club level (:gocho:) but with enough KSU doods around to make heckling the crap out of them great. One of the best days of my life.
2) '08 KSU-KU bball
3) '11 KSU-KU bball
4) 06 KSU-UT freemawball
5) 05 KSU-MU (OB's first last game)

Runners Up:
Baylor FB 2011
MU FB 2011
KSU-Xavier epic epic game. Was not there, but watched entire thing in Alehouse and therefore can't remember the last 2 OT's or leaning out the gf's window and screaming the whole ride home. Counts.
KSU-BYU game before epic game. Watching in KC Kite's was great, watching with dejected KU fans even greater.

2000 KSU-NU  sure 98 vs NU was great, breaking the losing streak to NU and stuff but 2000 seemed to validate our existence in the upper echelon of college football.I had seats on the east side 50 yardline second row from the top.On the game winning drive everyone around me was holding hands, the snow was falling, the cheerleaders were making snow angels, Willie appeared atop the pressbox then boom TOUCHDOWN WILDCATS.I looked at my friend next to me who was about 18 years my senior (I was 38 at the time)we had both endured a lot of wildcat defeats over the years and as a few tears rolled down his cheeks he smiled and said something like"I never even dared to dream of something like this".I just smiled choking back a few tears of my own and said "I know bud I know"
1998 KSU-NU Broke the streak ,#1 ranking,Bishop overcomes like 5 fumbles,THE FACEMASK AHhahaha and I could find my brother inlaw and me in the SI photo
1999 KSU 66 Misery 000000 The Cats had got whipped pretty hard in Lincoln the weekend before and you could tell they was pissed.Man what a stomping and Larry Smiths wife down on the sideline chewing out MU players for being such quitters.Late in the game we kick off and it`s kinda short the MU returner catches it around the 15 only to get killed by Newman who like never broke stride just plastered the poor tiger player and veered of toward the Cat sideline Cooper came flying up behind him and shoved him in the back sending Newman into a couple of somersaults then they both just kinda beat on each other the rest of the way to the sideline.
1975 KSU-OU Oklahoma was ranked #2 and had an all american running back named Joe Washington.I was 13 at the time and The Cats gave OU a scare holding Joe to like 65 yards in a 3-25 loss.At some point during the game I started a mocking "See Joe Run " chant and had a lot of the people around me doing it ,hell it could of been going around the whole stadium.I think one of my nuts dropped midway thru the 4th quarter
1970 KSU-Utah St. First Cat game I attended I was 8 years old 37-0 Cat victory nuff said

I was screwing around out in the sticks of Spring Hill (white trash USA) during the OSU game building a homecoming float for our sophomore class.  So I had to listen to WyattVision on the way home and I remember when Watts sealed the deal, I just honked my horn for like 10 seconds out on the road.  Such a good feeling.

Freemaw's first game, our most impressive home win since '03.  That day in particular was a great day to be a Cats football fan.

Don't know about the other four, but USC 02 by far. Night game in September against a really good team.

The all juco qb threw what would have been apick six to Polamalu but he dropped it. Snyder had seen enough and decided he was going to Ell.

Sproles was just nasty that game.

Newman was just absurd returning a blocked PAT.

I was thinking more of the off tackle option and option pass rather than the read option.  Sorry was having flashbacks and secretly hoping that CKQB will start averaging 300+ through the air.
