I thought Irving, Diaz and Johnson played well. I'm a huge gip fan but after the scrimmage I walked away thinking Diaz should get more of his minutes.
I was very surprised of the play from DJamer, that kid may actually do something.
Mcgruder's throw down was nasty! 
Diaz benefitted from that last quarter which had little defense. I have never thought he was particularly skilled for his size and have not found his aggressiveness or athleticism around the rim impressive either. He seemed like he was given the green light to fire from afar and I find that disturbing. But I was shocked to see he had as many points as he did.
I neglected to say anything about Nino, because he is not going to be playing this year. I like his
energy, but that is about all he is able to bring with his size and skill set.
