#life has a great chance to be very good, but he will have growing pains next year.

yes, and our dumbass fans will inevitably turn on him at some point calling for the new Iowan to see some time because he's obviously much smarter and has a better grasp of the offense.
but it will out a bunch of racist dumbasses and make for some really easy twitter/bbs pi'ing. so that's cool.

RG has a strong arm by NFL standards.  Sams appears to have an average arm by college standards  God bless KState fans.  PULLEN TO THE NBA!
what specific evidence do you have that sams' arm is no more than 'average by college standards'?

I don't think Klein has a weak arm, either. I haven't seen enough of Sams to say he's got a stronger arm than Klein, but he has a much faster release. I think he will end up being a much better passer.

Much better is approaching Robert Griffin territory, and unlike Griffin, he's not a whiney pussy.

No, there is a gigantic gulf between Klein's passing ability and Griffin's. Klein puts up his numbers while the defense is loading 8-9 players in the box to stop the run. Griffin put up his numbers against defenses geared to stop the pass.

Gigantic gulf = much better than Klein, which u suggested.  Sams could end up better but it will be tough.

Interestingly there isn't a big difference in numbers besides volume.  Rg3 was a threat to run as well, and they had a 1500 yard rusher

What specific evidence do you have that Arthur Brown's arm isn't stronger than average?  I bet you don't have any, do you?  So, let's just assume that it is.

nice strawman. there's a really big difference between saying we really don't know how strong sams' arm is and he appears to have an average arm.

Honestly I think the media is making a story out of nothing here.

Maybe, but concussions have become one of the major talking points in football, so when the Heisman frontrunner might have gotten one it is going to be a big story.

In quickly rewatching the last couple of series of the 1st half and the scoring drive to start the 2nd, its hard to tell where he got it. Snyder said in postgame he was injured on a pass play, but I can't see it. He took a bit of a shot on the last throw to Thompson to end the half. Then he took a bit of a shot on the first play to begin the 2nd half, the play before his run to the corner, and then fell hard on the sneak to score.

I guess that means you asked a stupid question.  How about this:  Go find a video clip that you think demonstrates Sams's strong arm and I'll respond with a video clip that I think demonstrates someone else's strong arm.  Then, we'll compare the two.

What I'm saying is that, IMO, there is no rough ridin' doubt CK will be playing, and playing well, this Saturday.  And if people knew that it wouldn't be a story.

Only if we were in some bizarro world where Snyder disclosed injuries. I agree that he'll be playing, but that's not where the story lies now, especially after Snyder toyed with the media today.

If someone told me Arthur Brown had a stronger arm than Colin Klein, I would say, "Hmm, I guess you could be right. I don't know, because I haven't seen him throw a really long pass or anything."

what motivation would Bill have to tell everyone he's ok? it helps us if anything to have TCU guessing who the starter will be.

I guess I would have to see arm strength in person before I made any judgment.  Cincinnati isn't very far from Morgantown, chance missed I guess.

i don't think our offense is much different b/w sams or ck collin klein stud america #1, so no biggie to tcu either way.  sames = massive stud just like his mentor ck collin klein stud america #1
