the new dorm appears to actually be like 3 new dorms

Well that road that passed the spork and grain science and the library is being turned into a major walk pathway.  Part of #walkingcampus, it is just weird you can't drive there anymore.  I guess it's gonna be lined with Trees and stuff too

It was pouring rain when I cruised through that new dorm expansion. So I didn't get pics. Enclosed walkways attached to second floors of existing dorms. Big expansion of Kramer. Will be a nice area when finished.

is there that large of a demand for dorm rooms or are they closing down the ghetto ones?

They're not closing the old ones. Guess demand is up.

They're not closing the old ones. Guess demand is up.

The demand is up. K-State had so many applicants the last few years to live with the dorms that they have been turning students from living in the dorms. K-State saw the opportunity to make more $$ so hence, more dorms.

this may come as a surprise to some of u guys but no one gaf about what construction is taking place on campus.  We're all graduated and moved on so none of this crap is doing us any good.  Get a life and worry about something that actually has an impact on your future.  Life is short is what I'm saying.
