Also, guys, you want to see some cool stuff.  Go up to that little icon near the top that looks like Saturn.  hit it and select sky.  then start zooming in on some constellations.  Or you can select the moon or mars.

Awesome stuff.

yeah, google sky view is awesome too.  like, point your phone at some star and they area of the sky you are pointing it at shows up on the screen with the names of stars and constellations and crap.  protip:  all the brightest stars are planets.

I like google street view because it makes it easy to get around. if they want to spy on my house or something for the government then I'm not going to stop them.

How could you?

The Feds and Google have all kinds of quiet little backdoor "partnerships".

I should have phrased it "I don't care to stop them even if I could"

You're rough ridin' right you should have.

I'm pretty fascinated with the way Google interviews people. I've heard stories of them taking people out to eat for interviews and ordering them steaks but making sure that the wait staff doesn't bring them a steak knife even if they ask for one just to see what the person does.

Mostly I just find their interview questions to be fun brain teasers.

well i'm not exactly sure what your point is then.  secret stuff,  let's put it on the cover of time magazine?
you need to become comfortable that there is a lot of secret stuff that you can't handle knowing about, and quite honestly don't want to know about.  there's a very popular phrase in the intelligence community that says something like "you might like the taste of sausage but you don't want to see it being made" and the same thing is true in many respects to the espionage/intelligence world and the methods by which data is gathered and then manipulated into something meaningful.  so just enjoy my bratwurst good buddy.
