Guys! I think this show will go out on top. Most shows can't say that.

What was up with that last phone call? I think he's just trying to make his family not miss him while he's gone because he had to know there were people there and he was way too over the top, not to mention the crying.

Whoa, tim with a good post. With that and Beems being down on KU football it has just been the strangest of days here at goEMAW.com.

Yeah, Walt knew what he was doing. That's why he was crying...he knew that he would never see his family again.

I have a weird feeling that he goes back and saves Jesse.

Yeah pretty obvious he was protecting his family.  And now he goes back for Jessie.
And then he dies of cancer.

Great episode.

Well, I pegged the "Jesse as slave cook for meth crew" prediction, but sure didn't get there quite how I expected. Hank went out like a boss. For a guy who didnt seem to give a crap whether he lived or died, Jesse kind of went all pussy at the end didn't he?

Quick question: in the flashback at the beginning, what did Jesse say in the RV while Walts back was turned? I couldn't make it out.

This isn't as fun as I thought it would be watching everything fall apart. I'm glad Walt gave Holly back. I hope Skyler gets what that call was about and that they can reconcile before he dies.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

So you expected everything going to hell to be fun to watch?

Also, Jesse never cared about himself, but he did care about other people.

Those scenes with the baby were hard to watch. It was like, the last, tiny, glimpse of a conscience was tapped when Holly asked for Mama.

Also, for the Skylar haters, I thought her acting was good on this most recent of episodes of Breaking Bad.

The car wash stuff tonight was painfully bad from both skylar and flynn.  At the house it wasn't noticeably bad.

Hard to believe after all that that Walt's coming back to save Jesse, especially with only two episodes to make him change his mind.

I'm trying to figure out this Walt/Jesse thing.  I've got to think that the whole scene with Jesse and the nazis was some sort of smoke screen - like Walt wanted the nazis to take Jesse prisoner.  Kind of like how he played the abusive, villain husband to protect Skylar and family.

If Walt really wanted Jesse dead, he could have had that done in the desert.  Somehow, by acting out the villainous, vengeful bad person character, Walt again kept Jesse alive while also executing some self-serving goal.  He probably knew that the nazis would eventually hunt Jesse down, seeing as he was the only witness to the crime.  I dunno.   :dunno:

If Walt had really cared about Jesse at that point, he wouldn't have told the Nazis where he was hiding. Walt might have a change of heart later, but he wanted a bullet in Jesse's dome right then, right there. He's blaming Jesse for Hank's death.

All true.

Walt is so calculating, though.  wouldn't surprise me in the least if there was something more to that scene than just pure, vengeful hatred for Jesse.

Walt probably just wants to kill the Nazis because they finally finished off his empire (that was falling apart).

Revenge rather than saving Jesse, but you never know, he's had a soft spot for Jesse for most of the series.

Walt is really proud of his product and seeing it back on the streets after the Nazis stole almost all of his money might cause him to snap and go after them and Jesse. I think he probably ends up realizing that everything is his fault and tries to save Jesse, though.
