It's reasonable, no doubt. But he's right, it's boring as crap.

This drive sucks your soul right out of you.

When you get to the I-79/I-68 interchange, if you have time, head out I-68 to the last exit before you enter Maryland and go visit Coopers Rock State Park. It's a must.

Were all the original city names taken when KS picked theirs? :dunno:
I mean, at this point you all should embrace the whole "Oz" thing. No one else can really claim that one.

Charleston sounds like a pretty original name for a capital.

Are there cabs?  How do you get to the bars after the game?

I ran into a West Virginia fan out here who told me the place to go was Bent Willies.
Just walk downtown after the game. It will be quicker than sitting in traffic. It's a bit over a 1.5 mile walk downhill.

Just played the 'name game' using only kstate players, past and present. I won. Glenn Gronkowski was a rough ridin' clutch move.

Huntington WV has confirmed every stereotype. Will keep you posted.

:bandwagon:

Hubby and I drove through there a couple of years ago and were absolutely stunned seeing the deteriorating and depressing appearance of Huntington.  Charleston looks better (like it was at least caught up to the 20th Century), but the utterly depressing and impoverished appearance of Huntington was something I will never forget.

..for the most part.

go on.....

Well 99% of the fans are great and hospitable, and some will offer yall food and drinks. There is however some fans(mostly, if not all students) that think its hilarious to start dumb crap with opposing fans..so if youre thin skinned when it comes to stuff like that be prepared i guess.
Yall should have a good time though..except for the game.
If anyone is looking for a bar to go to Friday night i would suggest Marios Fishbowl or Keglers btw...
Both of those bars are way off the bar scene and overrated. If you're old and just looking for a couple beers, go to one of those places. If you're looking to get destroyed and be where the action is, just head down to High St. That's where the typical college bar scene is at.
