Well for those of who you who think Kansas will lose in the first round you obviously have not watched all of their games this year. I don't know which, fortunate, or not it seems that even though they look as they know not what game they play for thirty minutes it is the time when they wake up that buries their oppenents. I could not believe the ridiculous start to the A & M game but still they kept them close and we know what happened. The K-State game should have been a blowout. Not because the Cats are bad but because they were tired. The problem with the Jayhawks is Self's inability to take his twins brothers aside and chew their behinds out liKe Martin did his kids telling them to quit playing soft inside and dunk the frikin ball! I added the frikin because I know I can't really say what I want to. It never ceases to amaze me how the game is nowdays. IN my day, if you shot crappy from the line you did not play in a tight game at the end, no matter who you were or how good you were with every other part of the game. Nowdays people seem to think that seventy percent is good or above average. Not hardly! And as well too many players want to try and drop a swish in on jump shots or little finger rolls instead of using the backboard. Why when most of the players hit well below fifty percent from the field due to that kind of play won't learn is beyond me. But....I regress. The twins on the Hawks are both what six foot nine inches? The answer me this....why in the bleep when you are one or two feet from the hoop are they not ducking the stinkin ball! If those two nitwits, and I say that with all respect had of dunked the ball all the times they tried to do a little pansy butt touch off the glass and missed Kansas would have won this game in the first half. Unbelievable...and worst Self apparently never got on them about it because they kept doing the same thing over an over again to the tune of a total of ten missed shots between them! Frank Martin told the Cats players to quit playing soft and start dunking the ball because Kansas was. Now that was great idea and talk to his big men, but the only problem I had with it is was he actually watching the same Kansas team I was? Aldridge who had developed a bad case of can't catch the ball, can't hang on to it, etc...was the only one that had a "real dunk" inside. I guess it irks me because why in the heck be that darn tall if you are not going to dunk it when you can? Why? I am five nine and in high school I could jump! I wanted to dunk in the worst way, just once! That 's all! With my vertical pretty good and big hands I took two steps from the free throw line one time and swung back with one hand palming the ball and came down as hard as I good because I knew it was the time. Well, you know it did come close. I missed by a half inch of slamming it throught the hoop. The problem was the floor was a long way down and real hard. That was the last time I tried to dunk. I figured if the Man wanted me to dunk I would have been six nine instead of a foot shorter, so when I see guys that size and they won't dunk when the time is there it really ticks me off. Come on boys....you ain't going to beat Kentucky if you leave that many points out there! What was the question? Oh yeah...they won't lose in the first round and the Big East is not as good or the ACC either as old Dickie V. thinks. I think I will cheer for Vermont!
