terry pierce called me and told me that if we didn't figure out the IT side of things (he was arguing with MJ about it or something) he was going to have to give Matt Scott from theshiver.com partial ownership of the site in exchange for him running it on his server.  i told him that was a bad idea.  we all got together and decided to just start a new site because terry's crap was getting kind of old anyway (like deleting threads and posts and stuff).  we then told a bunch of people we were starting a new site and terry said he was going to sue us all.  he never did.  we kind of wanted him to.  BSAC funded the project and gives us wads of cash for keeping this place so ratchet.

no, crashed military aircraft.  we have no evidence of intelligent alien life and probably never will no matter how hard we look given the vast distances between habitable systems, restrictions on speed/penetration of travel/communication and the relatively short time that the universe has existed.
