Yeah. Barry wont hand over Fast and Furious docs. He's in a tailspin and it's getting hard to watch.

Yet there's still a possibility that he could be voted back in.   I couldn't write a better comedy - A puppet could run as opposition and win.....   oh wait.

Its funny because Holder testified that Obama knows nothing about Fast & Furious. So I guess he doesn't know what he invoked privilege upon?

Jfc he whacks Osama then lets his body guards eff to there hearts content in south America and now this. He might just call off the election and hold office until he dies like a boss.

so its an issue with Obama does it, but not when Bush sells the country out to the oil companies, or a similar scenario with Janet and informants.

Will this be the democrats fourth or fifth presidential election against W?  I'm losing track.

If W was 1/4 as sinister and brilliant as the left gives him credit for, he'd be the smartest and most devious person ever to live on the planet earth.  Amazing how jealous they are of him.

can someone attempt to be an objective historian (i know) and tell me if the fast and furious fiasco is a bigger or smaller deal than the iran-contra affair?

I think you need to look at the motivations behind each one to determine which one is the bigger deal.

Well this thread isnt about Bush, but to answer: it's an issue when any president does it. I just find it funny that Obama's main selling point was himself and how HE was the one to bring hope and change. Now after four years in he seems to be just as big of a lowlife as Bush.

Iran Contra by far. But just as this thread isn't about Bush it isn't about Ronald, either.

This was a good post.  It is an issue whenever a President uses that privileged to hide fuckups.  You are also correct in noting that Obama did sell himself as change and has failed at many of his core promises or was very late in trying to make them come to fruition.

As far as contra, what we know right now, Contra by far.
