ok so it looks like gopowercat rushed their story and beat me to the punch with the same information i had. luc might come and he might not come.

i was working on a real story meanwhile they beat me to it with quotes from an unnamed person on a digital sports blog. it's new media like this that enfuriates me. i had the information first but wanted to write a quality story with actual quotes from jeff in it but new media type people beat me to it by rushing a story. really frustrating and makes me long for the days of credibility in journalism.

The situation was resolved in goEMAW's favor.  I wouldn't describe it as Fanning having quit.  We'll issue a statement before long.

and just as i was putting the finishing touches on my story that was going to run in the next goEMAW.com magazine that was scheduled to go to print tomorrow and then to local convenience stores and newsstands across the state, stupid ass warchant.com gets the information out first. fml and smh at this new media i'm so mad about this.
