I beat the traffic today by going at 11:30. I had planned on doing what 'Clams had asked of me, but then I was like "eff man, this is a free meal. "Add guac plz! I can afford it"".

I got into something of a shouting match while honoring KK today.

I ordered (bowl/white/black/sofritas/veggies/hot/pico/lettuce) through the app with a 12:15 pickup time. When I got there at 12:15, the pickup line was a complete cluster. 8 or so people just gathered around the second register. They clearly hadn't made any of these orders yet. The woman working the register was just asking people their names who were at, or near the front of the cluster, about two at a time, then going back and making the food, and returning about 5 minutes later.

I'm standing there for about 15 minutes and when she returns, a couple of bros behind me start say their names. I step in and say "hey wait a minute, some of us have been here for while." This guy takes offense to this and says "okay well we're all in line here. chill the F*** out. we'll all get our food when we get it." I tell him "well I saw you come in after me. I've been here for 15 minutes. it's my turn." I got my food shortly thereafter.

the moral of this story is that chipotle needs to get their online ordering system together -- they either need a separate queue/window for online orders or need to take fewer online orders for a given time. no excuse for not having the order ready at, or immediately after the pickup time.

I like the app. Order midmorning or if you're not hungry you can wait a little later. But anymore of today's nonsense and I'll just skip chipotle (except for the LATCKK7DCC of course)

If you want assembly line slop together guesswork I suppose the app might work well.

You know you can set the pickup time for whenever right? Like, if you order through the app at 10:30 or 11, you can set the pickup time for 12 or 12:15 or whatever.

The 'potle on 119th in Olathe USED to have a separate pickup window and separate entrance. But they got rid of it for some reason.

T-town's always on point. Ready and waiting. Generally 10-15 minute lead time.

Looks delish TBT! Last night the line at the Topeka store was backed up beyond the door but then again it was the last day the 'pons were good so that was to be expected. The guy ahead of me was with his g/w/w and they had 4 cell phones with them to pay for their huge order lol.

i've was incommunicado with steve ells during their e-coli scare but we've recently picked up our discussions and are trying to nail down a start date. yes- the challenge will be back this season.
