Can confirm the deliciousness of La Hacienda. All tacos (including tongue) are delicious, gordita is fantastic. Don't miss out on the assorted snacks and candies sold by the store.
G-Dubs/El Cazador: Respected by all. A founding father of Manhattan's formidable Mexican food republic.
TJ/The Chef: Controversial for some, beloved by others. Also, needed a breakfast place.
Teddy/Olive Garden: New kid on the block (comparatively). Loved by people who kill animals.
Honest Abe/La Hacienda: A short run (thus far), but enduring. Presided over a tough land (the South/Village Plaza), will never be forgotten no matter what.
Not pictured: Tad's Tropical Sno (more of a first lady Eleanor Roosevelt-type), Taco Hut (Ronald Reagan--beloved by one side only), Calico Inn (Winston Churchill--great, but from outside the area), Taco Luche (Barack Obama--lots of fans, too new to judge), Harry's (King George), Patio (never been), any Italian place (James Polk--nobody cares), Vista (Jimmy Carter--1970s, has done some good things, but mostly gross)
