Still confused on where it is, as I haven't been able to go yet because I've sadly not been back to MHK in a coon's age. Is it where, like, El Cazador used to be? Or over closer to where Breadeaux used to be? Where the hell is this place?

It's in the same strip as el caz was, but it is a few doors north

Hmmm... getting pretty hungry, wonder where I could get a delicious lunch for under $5 and support a quality local business?  Oh, I think I'll head over to La Hacienda and get 3 chile verde tacos!  :lick:

Other than goEMAW'rs how do they seem to be doing business-wise? I can see them tanking because lots of townies are stupid idiot-faces.

Lots of Mexican throughput over lunchtime. Not sure if they have to pay though.

Yeah, I've seen them paying. Decent 6pm crowd. Non-Mexican, non-goEMAWers need to improve their support. Blasphemous goEMAWers such as emawmeister and btkkk also need to step the eff back into line.

yeah. i'd hate for those guys to get the old "racist pos" title under their avatars like some other posters have. i mean, i'm just saying. obviously nobody wants it to come to that.

i wish they'd get a soda fountain.  would make it a million times better, imo.

well i wish they'd give me a twenty dollar gold coin every time i went in, but let's face facts, that place is pretty damn fantastic without that or your fancy dancy soda fountain.

As I tweeted to you, you were undoubtedly passed in line by the owner's family. If you think they don't deserve to go to the front, then I don't know what to tell you.

It's 2012, Daris.  I shouldn't have to go to a restaurant and drink soda out of a can/glass bottle.

Have you been to the goodcent's near Aggieville and seen that amazing 5,000ish flavor soda fountain there?  so cool.

This is exactly what La Hacienda wants me to do. I refuse to go to an establishment that gives a fast pass to someone just because they share the same ethnicity. If for some reason I end up eating there, like their fantastic tacos, I at least want a fountain drink or some complimentary cowboy boots to occupy my time.
I think what my friend Mitch is trying to say is that true love is blind.
