At Mizzou, I read Deliverance. At KSU, I studied accounting. That is the difference. Columbia is a world away from Manhattan. (But I still root for KSU in sports EVERY time. It's been in my blood since childhood. I didn't know a skunk wasn't really a jayhawk until I was 12.) Also, St. Louis is a world away from KC. (I root for KC.)

I was in KC this weekend for a kids triathlon. Most of the parents were from Johnson County, you know the type. I was hungover. It was brutal.

I think it's because after we beat them last season Pinkel blew off Snyder's advice where he was going to tell him not to be a piece of crap drunk wife beater.
