Guys, this is the first handball game I've seen and I rough ridin' love it, I want in on the goEMAW / USA team. I'd probably fit in best as a physical defender and opportunistic scorer from the wing. When are tryouts?

Lebron Instagram titled "Kobe #1 and Kobe #2 LOL"  :surprised:

So we can chalk up Lebron and Kobe as EMAW :users:

Keep the faith.  T&F just started.  we'll rack up some medals there.  Also, I see us winning 5-6 golds in the team events.  M&W Bball, M&M Vball (indoor and outdoor), W Soccer.

We'd love to have you, 8man. And a physical presence in middle is a definite need.

Limestone is in charge of tryouts, but if I had to guess we will start practicing 2 or 3 weeks before the 2016 games. That should be enough time, right? Since we're all EMAWs and thus have god-given talent superior to anyone else...

The sad resonance of diver Wu Minxia’s story after she won the gold in 3-meter springboard was a confirmation of what skeptics would’ve already assumed about China’s Olympics program: that it swallows humans and forces them to behave as robots. Her father revealed to a Shanghai newspaper that he and his wife had concealed the mother’s breast cancer from the daughter for eight years. Also, they’d not told the daughter that her grandparents had died more than a year ago. “We accepted a long time ago that she doesn’t belong entirely to us,” Wu Yuming said. “I don’t even dare to think about things like enjoying family happiness.”

Equestrian - how come the horse doesn't get the medal instead of the human?  The horse had to run around and jump over stuff with a human on its back.

It's funny how the Olympics make women's sports enjoyable.  beach volleyball is always enjoyable, though.

I was thinking of starting practice once we got to Brazil.  I am athletic enough to destroy any of the teams I have seen so far.  I assume all of you are also.
