Best summer Olympics sport: Pick one of either track and field, swimming or basketball.
Most underrated summer Olympics sport: Fencing. Cuz come on, who doesn't like two dudes fighting with sharp objects?
Worst summer Olympics sport: Definitely synchronized swimming.

So excited!    :excited:

watching her and the other gymnasts just amazes me. not because of their flexibility, flips, etc.... but that they're like 4'8" and stuff, and not considered dwarfs or little people or w/e. then i look at team china and think "are they 4 or were they bound during puberty?"

Confession: I really enjoy automatically accusing every country that beats the US of cheating.  ESPECIALLY the Chinese gymnastics team.

agreed. Didn't watch any gymnastics in 2008 but probably spent 2 hours reading google cache conspiracies about Chinese cheating.

Oh, and the emotionless racism in Chinese state media explaining which sports each country will win and why is also just wtf great.

Yes, they are nice.   They completely renovated them a few years ago before they hosted the last Olympic Trials.

I'm sure there's other lucrative opportunities for someone somewhat good at jumping medium twice and then jumping far.
