Lesson learned.  K-State has to get off their ass and work the media in the modern game of college football.  It matters tremendously.

K-State had the most talked about campaign of the three candidates.
Not really
and band aids don't cut it.

You're an idiot.  I'm sure you can tell me what ND and A&M did without googling.

I heard 3 different long time CFB media members say the bandaids were the most creative trinket they've ever seen.  Nevertheless I'm sure if they did whatever you proposed it would make up the 1200 point deficit he had and more.
Damn youre a pseudointellectual jerkoff.  You really think trinkets are going to win a Heisman in today's age?  GMFB.  Yeah they were a great trinket to put out there to keep people thinking of CK.  Right now we know about 2 items sent out by K-State for the promo, the promo guide with the band aid enclosure and the box of bandaids. That isn't going to do crap when Kelly is out there pumping the media ever chance he gets.  That isn't going to sway a voter when Sumlin is out there pumping the stats for his QB in every interview on ESPN.  Guess what, the small time mindset at K-State of just being happy to be invited kills our chances at winning awards and getting votes in polls.  Those are the clear facts of the matter.  Every other week K-State should have been putting new material out or having interviews.  We couldn't get out of our own way to accomplish a semblance of a PR campaign.

Snyder could have done more to help Klein than anyone.

Well, short of Colin having numbers in the ballpark of Manziel's.

Seriously, what the eff was going on there?  Has there been any other national conversation about the fact that Manziel's family was wearing lei's and Collin's was not?  What the eff was that?

Phil Savage, the guy who makes the final roster decisions for the Senior Bowl has a fine eye for talent, especially quarterbacks, so if he doesn't think Collin is good enough for his game we should be okay with that.  I mean Savage was responsible for this

Quote
Savage stole the headlines in the first round of the 2007 NFL Draft as the Browns drafted Wisconsin offensive tackle Joe Thomas with the third pick overall, and then acquired Notre Dame quarterback Brady Quinn with the 22nd pick, acquired through a trade with the Dallas Cowboys. The Browns gave up their 2007 second-round pick and 2008 first-round draft selection to Dallas for the chance to pick Quinn.

I mean not only did he draft Brady Quinn in the first round he gave away another first round pick and a second round pick to get him.  Phil Savage is clearly a qb evaluation savant.

ON THE BRIGHTSIDE:  Now that the awfulness of A&M winning this is over, we get to look forward to three years of Manziel failing miserably to live up to the hype!

Over/Under on Johnny Footballs ever winning a divisional or conference title in the SEC?

with pending proceedings sometimes I wonder if ESPN did this to build him up so the nation can watch him fall on their network and be all "we had no idea" and then bury the crap out of him.  Sort of like they are BITB'ing us the whole time.

This is good for us in the long run, guys.  Disgusting tainted trophy.  No thanks!

This, ESPN has made more money on tearing Tebow down that propping him up. Since Tebow is now all torn down/in the New York market and thus the New York media's domain, they need some new meat to chew up. Congrats Johnny.

For a while there winning all those games was making me really happy and excited.  Now all this is bringing the rough ridin' anger back!  :curse:
