We were there on Sunday!Week before past MondayAnyone have any recommendations for dining in Independence? Going to the Sturgill show on Saturday and it's at the Cable Dahmer ArenaI have lived in Independence for two years now. Places i frequent are Tim’s Pizza (Cash or Check only) which is off of Highway 40 on the way to Cable Dahmer. The Courthouse Exchange is downtown Independence proper but their service has been slow the last few times I have been but I have never been on a Saturday night.Saints Pub is also close/just across the highway and has decent food. Its the same restaurant as the one in Olathe/Lenexa area if you have been to that one.Might be worth it to go the extra mile or two down the road to Blue Springs. Would recommend Brewers or East Forty Brewing before the show. Both local and good food/brews.I will also be at the show! Im very excited for it.Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkEnded up going to Jim's Alley Bar before (and after) the show. I had the Italian Beef/Sausage sandwich with hot peppers dipped. It was the best Italian Beef I've had outside of Chicago. Brunched at Char Bar in the AM and had the Burnt Heaven

I'm only familiar with the one in the Crossroads. But yes, I would recommend iti was just having fun with the idea that a place named “jim’s alley bar” would have more than one location and that one of the locations would be considered their flagship spot.i’ll try out there beefs despite it being neither authentic, nor artisanal enough for our friend “mocat”.
in the end, EMAW will always win.
Jim sounds like Hank's cousin.

I am glad Jim's exists tho.
