the fact that it is so incredibly common and widespread is what really gets me
KC Bier Station isn't even it's own micro brewery tho. They just serve a bunch of local brews and food like Beer Kitchen, Burg and Barrel, etc. It's sad and bizarre you don't understand this point.

I could be wrong, but isn't there KC Bier and then Bier Station, but no KC Bier Station?

Yeah, Bier Station is what I meant. They don't even serve their own beer, so I don't see why some are acting like this is such an common theme for a non-brewery that serves food.

that's pretty irresponsible of you to send them down there when there's no streetcar to jettison them to it.  i can't imagine the horrific look on these poor souls faces when they realize they're in for an 8 minute walk from p&l to the crossroads.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

#BURGERMANIA Big 12 tournament edition

Howard's - 1708 Oak St.

Burger - 5.75/7 - I prefer a thinner burg patty but the meat itself was v good and overcame the fat patty.  The bun was delish.  They did add some different toppings like pickled vegs which I enjoyed but traditionalists may turn their nose.

Fries - 5.2/7 - Kind of skimped on fries but overall a solid fry.  Nothing extraordinary.  Served with boysgrow ketchup.

That looks like a good tasting bun but not appropriate for a burger

I'm on a #BURGERMANIA run fellas.

Today...Cafe Europa in Union Hill

Burger - 4.99/7 - 3 ounce patties so ordered a double.  Meat was tasty and cooked well but almost too much cheese made it kind of an overly greasy burg.  Bun was average. Came with special sauce which was prob just 1000 island and pretty meh.

Fries - 3.68/7 - looked fine, but just not cooked long enough. Pretty uneventful, left most of them on the plate.

Condiments - 6/7 - dining partner got some sort of Mexican type brunch meal which came with Verde salsa which was awesome on the fries.

Corvino. Very good. Great atmosphere. 4 buck alpha pale ales! Don't take people here that want max food per dollar....They will come away disappointed. You get high quality food in small plate form. You will not walk away spending under 100 a couple without booze and prob still be hungry if you are a mass eater type

I had been to Grinder's about a million times but, up until last night, hadn't ventured beyond their phillies or 'za. Last night I decided to order their Cali BLT featuring incredible bacon, perfect tomato, lettuce, and some sort of chipotle aoli. The bread was a perfectly toasted wheatberry. This sandwich is the real deal, you guys. The tots, as always, were great...but the sandwich (and beers) stole the show. 6.5/7 would order again / recommend.

EDIT: I left out the "cali" part...the perfect amount of ripe 'cado.
Please don't ban me, Mr. Dave.
