I don't own a dog but if guess if you were out walking your dog and wanted to stop meet friends for a drink? That's the only viable dog at restaurant patio situation I can dream up.

We've had this debate for years with two of my friends. Ms. Wacky has a little ass dog and likes to take him places with a patio for weekend drinks/lunch. I'm not a huge fan of it, but whatever. My two friends however despise it. We used to go to mccoys a lot on Saturdays and they'd get so pissed seeing big ass dogs around everyone's food. I get both sides. I tell Ms. Wacky to leave her dog at home tho most of the time, because he holds everything up and i'm not a patient person. I do like seeing adorable dogs out tho.

lib, mrs mocat and i had brunch at District (in Waldo!) a few weeks ago and somebody had a dog (appeared to be a mature Golden) out on the patio and everyone seemed to enjoy it.

i love dogs. love love love them. but i was visiting friends in seattle a month ago and we couldn't go anywhere that didn't allow dogs because they didn't want to leave it alone in their apartment, and that was kind of annoying to me.

I'm in the exact same boat. I want to adopt all the dogs in the world, but I don't know if I want them bothering other people at  lunch. Kinda like whenever I burn one. I try and walk as far away from ppl as I can. I don't want them invaded by my bad habit.

Yeah I don't see Lidia's being okay with that....unless on that north patio that I've never seen one person sit.

I went to a brewery in Seattle that had a dog that barked at everyone that walked in the door, kind of frightening.
Where did you get that overnight bag?

Also the past few posts have reminded me there was a boss as hell yellow lab chilling under the table last fall on the patio at Grand Street (plaza location). They brought him a bowl and snacks so maybe it is a thing.

Ate at Extra Virgin last night. Highlight was the oven roasted branzino. Duck tacos were decent. Chicken livers on toast were excellent. Thought their bar kind of sucked. Would go back but so many other places still to try.
