I like to call out the defenses, numbers in the box, zone or man, a poorly disguised zone blitz is my favorite to call out.  If there's enough time I like to call out what we should do to that defense.

Down and distance, and dudes in the box.

"3rd and four...sheesh, 8 in the box, we gotta run the flea flicker."

There was an idiot that sat behind us in the second half of the DOD. After every effing play he would immediately call out the upcoming down and distance. If he would be wrong by a yard, I would correct him. Seriously, for the first few games of the first season I thought maybe somebody setting next to him was blind or something and he was trying to give them a mental picture.

the flea flicker should be run 7-15 times per game.

pre-snap i focus soley on bonus lockett and where he is and what he's doing.  usually i wait for him to check his position with the line judge making sure he's not offsides, then he takes off like a rocket and catches a td bomb.  then i fist pump and high five any emaw in the proximity.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

At least once a game I like to point out that, "this may be the jailbreak screen!," even though we haven't really run that successfully in like ten years.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Love it when a QB lines up at receiver, always point out.

"Oh man, that's Klein wide up on top"

Also, when defenders are doing the palms up 'i don't know the play' body language.

"36 doesn't know the coverage!  36 DOESN'T KNOW THE COVERAGE!!!   :excited:"

I don't point this out usually, but this is usually what I think about before the snap...

1) Personnel - How many WRs, RBs, TEs. Often you can anticipate this based on subbing from the sidelines.

2) Formation - Usually typical, but try to notice balanced vs unbalanced looks, twins, trips, trips to the TE side, TE covered, etc.

3) Backfield alignment - Where is/are the back(s)? Wildcat? Offset or pistol? Etc.

4) Defensive alignment/coverage - How many in the box? Coverage? Most college teams are more complex though, disguising coverages, or playing man on half the field and zone on one half or other mixes. With motion you have a bit of a better idea.

5) Linemen alignments - Usually don't get this far, but pulling offensive linemen often tip themselves off by lining up slightly deeper off the ball to get angles to pull, etc.

"Oh man, their defensive end is totally lined up offsides!!"  And then it never gets called.

On offense

-Man/Zone based on motion "Yup, their in man"
-Point out who is in the backfield if its not hubert "O looks like Pease is in, good to see him getting some snaps"
-Blitzing linebackers or linebacks that are just faking "OU's outside linebacker has been faking the blitz all day, its coming soon"
-Safety alignment in regards to reciever "THROW THE FADE TO HARPER"

Pretty much the exact same as offense but switched

I will point out that my biceps are looking particularly ripped today on account of the curls I did that morning.

In the future when I attend games, I can imagine that I will be heard saying something like, "Oh, this is the formation that _Fan was talking about! We need to do XYZ (whatever _Fan said we should do in this situation) and we will destroy them!"
