Per Cassidy.

C Laimonas Chatkevicius, previously committed to KL-State will head to South Carolina with Frank Martin.
South Carolina needs a big guy and the new #KState staff was less than impressed with Chatkevicius. So win-win for everyone, I guess.

I too would like to see a Frank recruiting thread, but I dgaf how he does. Would just rather see that stuff consolidated so it doesn't bleed into other threads. Know what I mean?

So, what are the South Carolina fans saying right now? Were the resigned to the fact that they're gonna blow for 2 seasons while Frank rebuilds?

Or were they expecting Frank to deliver Upshaw, Diaz, Angel and a few other immediate transfers to immediately boost the program?

I mean, we're all butthurt that Weber can't deliver better assistant coaches. SoCa fans have gotta be hutthurt that Frank can't deliver better players than Moose, right?

We know that these aren't "great" recruits, but we also know that there aren't a lot of great recruits left during the spring signing period. BTW, Moose is now 7' 245 so he will be a space eater, if nothing else. We aren't unrealistic enough to know that it will take until probably year 3 for Frank to have us in the tournament. We're a patient group as long as we see progress.

If Frank gets us in the tourney sooner than that AND wins a game or two he will have the 800,000 citizens of Columbia eating out of his hand, including me. The last 14 years have been tortuous except for those 2 runs to win the NIT.
