Preferably something that I could wear mostly w/ jeans and buttoned shirts/sweaters but occasionally wear with shorts. I'd like to keep it under $100, but whatevs.

I currently have the grey version of these (I think) and they are falling apart. they're also a bit clunky w/ shorts:

Do you like the Tom's shoes? They're cheap & sweeping the country. Chucks are timeless...

i would tell you to get a great looking pair of AF1's, but they're not well liked on the west coast.

no, I couldn't really wear those to work. toms shoes are sweeping the country. I don't like most of them, though. Maybe they have some new stuff. I will check.

I think I may go w/ chucks and some new flips for shorts. My feet are big and I always feel awkward wearing shoes w/ shorts (and I'm not hoopin).

That material on the end of the stick is what it looks like you are wearing on your feet when you are wearing Toms.

I probably couldn't pull off most tom's shoes. and the chucks only on friday. But I would just look ridiculous in AF1's.
