When I say that I don't really give a crap, I mean that I mostly don't give a crap or that I I only kind of give a crap. I don't mean that I thoroughly don't give a crap. (I agree that this practically never happens.) (Besides, I essentially said that I do give a crap at least insofar as I like looking like I don't give a crap.) Instead of "not giving a crap," substitute "not as strongly opinionated/fussy." Thanks for the opportunity to clarify!!

I'm finding giving less of a crap to be a major perk of aging. Don't get me wrong. I still obsess about trying not to get too fat and all. At the same time, I sort of enjoy wearing my old, stained neon green running shoes with olive colored denim pants and black socks. Because why not?
