Fun fact: Chicago is colder than the north pole
I used to think that Chicago residents were fat because of the delicious food and beverages this city has to offer. But now I know it's a survival technique.
It's a little of both
i always though chicago residents were in pretty great shape actually.

After going back to Kansas this weekend, it certainly seems that way
i attribute it to the lack of cars

I don't even know why I just thought of this, I was there a month ago and was told it would kick Topsy's ass, wasn't aware it was just touristy frou frou

Rest of the city kicks ass though...well except the pizza.

I just had the burger at Au Cheval and, holy crap...worth the hype. Don't know that it is truly the best burger in America, but I don't know of a better one.

W Chicago - Lakeshore, has had the biggest room I've stayed in in Chicago, but I prefer staying closer to Millennium Park. I'm going to the Immersive Van Gogh exhibit later this month and I'm pretty excited about it.

Like, in the loop downtown or River North/West Loop?

In the loop - Chicago Athletic Association hotel or Palmer House (both old/renovated hotels)

River North - Peninsula / Ritz are both elite, W is supposed to be nice.  Also the Drake. Otherwise, all the name brands are there.

West Loop - the new Nobu hotel or The Hoxton

8mp or anyone who'd be there going into the first weekend of November - if I have to go to this place that Wednesday night through Friday noon, worth sticking around Friday afternoon/night and maybe even into Saturday to pak and then fly out Saturday morning?  My happiness is as simple as pounding pitchers of beer at snickers, but more is cool too.  Pounding a pitcher or two less would probably be fine on Thursday night instead/also.

It looks like the Chicago K-Staters used to meet at Murphy's Bleachers.
