I think its a reach to say Lowry was trashing Frank and his offense. I think Lowry made a great point that one of the offensive keys is getting to the FT line next year.
I don't think Weber is great in these interviews, but I don't think he is as terrible as you are making him to be. I don't disagree that he could make some more concessions about the issues he had at Illinois, especially last year, but I also think he realizes his offense has to be better to win (and keep his job) at K-State. He's simply trying to sell himself in these things and some of his points aren't very good, but Frank had lots of terrible talking points too. Pretty much all coaches have terrible talking points at times when being interviewed.
