Correction, I bought into what the NCAA told Schulz. That was that Frank made a big mistake on National TV.  Connect the dots, it's not very hard to do. Frank is leaving, he comes on National TV to tell us this why? Because he knows there is more to the story that hasn't come out yet. He's preempting that by saying "yeah, I paid players in the past, no big deal". CC has confirmed this may not be over yet and that the NCAA is involved. Currie even deflected questions at his presser to the NCAA.  Currie said he wishes the receipt never made it to his office. I believe that part but I don't believe he wasn't actively trying to make sure this wasn't going on.

If you're paying players, shouldn't they be nba talent?

why can't we see that the way to do this is to funnel money to players through walk-ons

I would love to meet posters like fuktard, catwhisperer, and kim carnes.  It would be fascinating to see how they interact with people face-to-face.  I also love how catwhisper put something in quotations that Frank didn't actually say, not to be intentionally inaccurate but because he actually doesn't know how to use quotations.

They have the wrong kid in the picture, don't they  :opcat:

It is customary for top tier schools like KU to offer some white kid who doesn't even start on his HS team a walkon spot, isn't it?

I don't like this guy.

thecatwhisperer has really exploded onto the goEMAW scene in a pretty awful way

Can one of the mods give him the title that is underneath Rams' name?  The crown has been passed.

I heard a rumor there was a player that was pushing to get paid and then left because he didn't.  Probably not hard to guess who that is.

Does anybody think Frank was paying AAU coaches for players.... Art, Malone, some random Gaucho guy?? and some of the money getting cycled back to the players? His recruitment outside those pipelines was pretty shitty.

Man I wish Wally could have played to his potential.  I was really sad watching him struggle.

Wally was the player I've hated the most since Frank, with Sprads just beating him out this offseason.  Congrats Sprads

They've both been extremely frustrating but at least Sprads was playing at his potential. Wally could have been special if he had the heart of Sprads. JMO

Thank you!  Couldn't say he was injured. That's too much of a cop out.  It is his fault he's white though. Kind of like Michael Jackson.
