Because he hasn't called a presser to apologize for the last couple of pressers? He, or an intern, or a student, or the SID, or CC himself omitted a question on the transcript...he isn't running around w/ a MIB mind erase device saying it never happened, they are moving on from it...that is really all that is left to do at this point w/o drawing more negative attention to an already bruised image, which is the absolute BEST course of action they can take going forward, short of turning back the clock 4-weeks.

OK, that's the best course of action they can take after a series of eff-ups in March 2012.  I'd like for there to not be eff-ups.  I lack the authority to make that happen, but I can certainly mock him for them.  Maybe that'll make him want to leave, maybe he'll dig in further.  :dunno:

I think this is where I say you're entitled to you opinion.  I do absolutely agree with you here:

Trim, I like you man

 :excited:

I agree best course, no eff ups...but like I said, short of a Delorian ride back to whenever, that ain't happening, but basically

Quote
Stop doing things, or facts, that piss everyone off.

is what exactly what they're trying to do by just moving on and not trying to draw attention to their eff ups of the past week, month, whenever...

Not trying to talk you off the Fire Currie Bandwagon or anything, just pointing out that at this point 'doing nothing' is the best something they can do

Captain Crap . . . none of these guys is legit until someone on an official level is considering dis-association.

Until then, they're just clowns whining on a message board.

OK.  Probably, but I guess I'm saying there's nothing they can or can't do at this point - save the Delorian and getting us back Frank or Gottlieb (and Leavitt) - that's going to salvage things in my bug eyes.

I'd actually be interested in what their take is on "goEMAW."  Certainly they know who I am and how much I donate.  I wonder if they think I'm the average goEMAW'r or if the owners (BSAC excluded) are people of my ilk with everyone else being a teenager, or what.

As long as other fans think this is the case, that is prob all that matters to the AD.  I mean, if an existing perception is accepted and convenient, why correct it?

FTR, I am not saying I agree with this perception.  I think we as goEMAW'ers are very misjudged in our abilities, understanding, and participation, but as long as the majority can be allowed to ignore us because of an incorrect perception, those resisting the change we want win.

I agree, but even being satisfied with others' perception, I wonder what they actually think.  Surely they know a little better.  Not saying they'd have any desire to correct others' perception, but I think they'd want to know internally exactly what they're dealing with.

This is the most butthurt I've ever been about anything as a kstate fan.  I've enjoyed the last 6 years and John Currie has destroyed it.  And he did it sneaky, and much of it was his fault (not only his mind you).

Was there a single moment that got you disassociated, or was it a culmination of years of hard work?

Its kind of like a river working on a rock Rusty.

And SD is right, with the whole message board thing just a couple of years old.  Before 2009, it was just chalking.
