There was a question about the protest.  That question and answer are no where to be found.

Was that not the feedback one?

Which feedback one?  I just did a word search for "feedback" and "protest" and came up empty.   :dunno:

You're entitled to your opinion.

I also did a search for this quote that I found in the suntimes, and also came up empty:  ‘‘It doesn’t matter where you go or which coach you hired, there was always going to be a question mark. There’s no doubt about that. That’s part of college sports.’’

I need to file a bug report with the Chrome dudes apparently.

Both BW and JC do lengthy 1-on-1 or small group interviews after the PC, highly probable the quote came from there if it's not in the transcript.

I recommend watching the presser on the new KStateHD.tv.

Well none of the questions are put in there word for word, it's usually just a key theme of the question. That's the way they always are. There's a question about feedback that I would assume is the one that would have included the protest. But I honestly don't remember the PC well enough.

Regardless, I would be highly skeptical that JC gave any direction at all on that page. I'd guess if he read it at all, it wouldn't have been until Monday or something.

See my last post.  There is no part of the question or response in the "Full Transcript".  Maybe Currie didn't direct someone to remove that part of it.  But I'm highly skeptical that an intern did that of their own volition.

Currie's entire Q&A from the press conference is not included on the "full transcript" and was also omitted from the kstatehd.tv archive.

I have to chime in even though I'm going to get flamed for it...Trim, I like you man, but you & others are being a little bit like the 5 year old kid in Liar-Liar right now that just doesn't quite understand that sometimes Adults Lie...it isn't like he is calling the sky red or anything...yes, we get it, JC has preached openness & transparency...that isn't a blood oath to never tell a lie, no matter how white that lie may be.

You guys are chastising KSU (and rightly so) for having shitty PR in this time, so they take the step to remove a 'contoversial' question from the PC transcript that would just highlight the bad PR and you are mad about that, and you are mad that it isn't there...it is lose-lose.

And before you give me crap for this post, please realize I took the time to put the title of the damn movie in italics, that has to count for something  :eye:

I don't know why quotes don't appear in there. My guess is that whoever was typing it in thought it was a good idea. Not what i would have done, but whatever. Extremely unlikely there was any direction given from on high to leave it out.

What questions is Currie responding to in the transcript if the Q/A was left out?

Hello Mr. Strawman.  I have not once posted anything like that.  I don't think that there is any kind of evil master plan.  I don't think he's evil generally.  I don't think that Currie wants to bring down K-State athletics.

I do think that he's a hypocrite.  I do think that he's trying to avoid embarrasment for himself.  I do think that he isn't good enough to be the AD at Kansas State.

But you're entitled to your opinion.

If I'm an intern, and I am putting together the full transcript for the website, I'm going to go ahead and include every question and answer.  You know, to put together the full transcript.  Someone told him to not include that.  It is silly to think that person was John Currie.  Guessing that John Currie has pretty minimal interaction with interns.

So maybe someone should mention the uh, over site, yeah we'll go with that, and fix the transcripts, and unedit the video?

None of Currie's Q&A was included in the transcript...so, all of them.

Everything from 32:50 on is left off the full transcript (good transparency quotes early, BTW):

I don't like Jim Carrey.

I've thought Currie is an insincere, condescending dork for a while now; this isn't about catching a few white lies in the last week or so.

However, I think it's amazing that he's so oblivious or dismissive about how dumb this all looks, that he and his staff will lie about or omit things that can be debunked by one click on their own website.

It's not so much the lies as it is the approach that we're all retards.  I mean, look at this rough ridin' thread.

I guess the Currie q&a is separate. I didn't hear a protest question on the full audio, BTW.

Guys, do you think maybe rogue interns edited the charts and stuff that Currie had spread out on his king-sized bed in Dallas?

I shouldn't post at work. They made Currie's Q&A before Weber's and it confused me. Jesus Christ.

Man, I did not know how pissed you guys are about a PC transcript. Am sorry I asked about it, this seems to be a hot button for some of you.

I've stated my opinion: if I had done it I would have included every questions and answer. Whoever did this one thought differently. Almost certainly was an independent decision, no different than what is typically made on every PC transcript. Don't really think it's a big deal, or indicative of a larger strategy or problem. Some of you feel very strongly to the opposite. Forgive me if I bow out of this topic, I personally do not care nearly as much as you guys about it.
