CC: I'm trying to give you the benefit of the doubt here, but you do understand that when Currie says at the PC that "Frank and I had a great relationship", every other thing that comes out of his mouth is just assumed to be bullshit, right? Then when you get on here and defend his honesty with us (the fans), when we know he has lied to us numerous times ("Frank and I had a great relationship", "no predetermined parameters - no wait, head coaching experience", "Turner provided us with the info - no wait, I got this call from Gene Keady out of the blue") it makes me (and I assume others although I'm not going to speak for them) think you are likely full of crap as well? Follow?
"Frank and I had a great relationship" -- does no one any good to bash the other guy. Both men took the high road. Did they overstate? Maybe. But come on, this isn't a lie -- it's being an adult. If you're going to call JC a liar for this, you'd have to call Frank a liar too, he did the same thing. I think both guys did the mature, correct thing: be gracious and move on.
"no predetermined parameters - no wait, head coaching experience" -- like I stated earlier, I believe the head coaching exp became something he looked for once process already started, not before.
"Turner provided us with the info - no wait, I got this call from Gene Keady out of the blue" -- Turner gets paid for lots of things, including tips on candidates. But just as often it is to weed out those who aren't legitimate candidates, act as a screener, discuss terms with agents etc. Lot of detail type stuff. Don't view this as a lie.
