These guys are craving getting some real instruction from a coach with years of experience who doesn't belittle you if you miss a free throw.

Can confirm.  Players were pleased with 1st practice. I loved the tenacity and toughness Frank's teams played with.  However, any of you guys ever see the a tape of the Jack Hartman pregame ball handling/passing drills and the final weave they did prior to leaving the floor?  I don't think any of Frank's teams could have executed them.

I've seen it in person.  Every time the Harlem Globetrotters come to town.

Frank has gotten worse the last couple of years due to his insecurities and ego. Just ask the players. They said as much at the press conference. But, of course that doesn't mean anything. Why would it? Chingon obviously knows more than they do. Frank's inability to control his emotions was getting in the way of his coaching.  When you lose respect for the person who is coaching you, you're going to have a hard time listening and developing as a player.  We all saw it on the sidelines. When you waste half of your timeout in a fit of rage rather than coaching it's going to affect your players abilities to make in game adjustments.

You guys remind me of the guy who gets dumped by his girlfriend and then loses the next girl whose interested in him because he can't remember why he had problems with the first girlfriend and always talks about her. It's rather pathetic. Move on. Frank has.

Reason with what? Information straight from the practice floor?  "No it's crap because I have formed an opinion and i won't listen to anybody that presents information that is contrary to that opinion" Oh I forgot, that's the goEMAW mantra. Better yet, instead of bitching about somebody's information, why not reason with it with a reply based in facts and not just opinion and emotions.

1.  Nearly every Illinois fan has complained about Weber's insecurities.

2.  Oh.  We couldn't fancy pass during preface???
WTF kind of argument is that?

All this vague rough ridin' insidery info about Frank's behavior needs to rough ridin' stop until you can bring some actual examples to light.  Until then everyone is going to assume it is nothing but a bunch of lies being put out to the fans in order to justify the clusterfuck of a coaching transition our AD just orchestrated.

Fact: You are trying to say Weber is better than Frank via the first practice by giving your opinion that you didn't think Frank's team couldn't perform a 3rd coach's drill from 30 years ago.  That's pretty rough ridin' stupid.

Educate yourself on what happened to his team this year.  Oh and word on the street is he's bringing in 2 high profile recruits with him. Also recruiting k-state is going to be easier than illinoise due to easier academic requirements.  The future isn't as dark as you would like to believe.  Why don't you ask some of the players yourself?

You presented zero facts.  You posted the asinine opinion that you didn't think Frank's team could accomplish some passing drill from the 70's as if it were some scathing indicment of his coaching.   I'm sorry, but some report from your dumb ass about a three man weave at practice isn't really that interesting or informative.

Every rough ridin' thing I've read on the subject indicates that he lost the ability to motivate his team, which seems like about the worst rough ridin' thing that a coach can do.

He had injuries, a bunch of premadonna freshman who didn't want to work.  A first year AD who publicly called into question weather he would be rehired mid season.  The list goes on.   Your logic is rather ironic considering Frank had lost half his team for next year if he returned and went to SOUTH CAROLINA.

I hope these aren't the big score transfers we're rumored to have a chance at.

Every team has injuries - K-State had several this year.  As far as the freshmen, that would be the coaches fault if he recruited players he can't work with.  What a rough ridin' lame cop out.  eff.

Just drop the crap about Frank losing half the team, for all we know that's more crap Currie is making up to justify the little coup he orchestrated in the shadows.  That eff has lost all credibility.

Frank was lucky he had Brad on his sideline. He was the brains of the operation and tried to save it.  Ice your butts tonight. It sounds like they hurt. oscar will do just fine. Goodnight.
