I was sitting behind Larry Brown behind the KSU bench at the Big XII tournament. I went up to speak to him about KSU and general things. I got his autograph while fully dressed in Purple. Was it a sign???????? Unfortunately, I didn't have the foresight to think he was a candidate for interim coach pre pearl.

I can upload the picture when I get home later tonight.

Interm coach can't be a KSU Alumn unless Underwood would stay on that basis. He would have to know prior and agree to it. Very complex situation. You won't be able to fire a coach without cause in 2 years, especially a KSTATER.

Brown, while unlikely, would be ideal.
Bob Knight actually would be a good choice to be honest. Maybe he has an itch that he could fill in 2 years.
Underwood would be fine if he agreed to it.

Tad would be horrible because he wouldn't agree to it and Currie wouldn't fire him in 2 years.
Jank/Henson would be terrible because they wouldn't and you certainly wouldn't be able to fire in 2 years.
none of the other candidates on the GPC list would be good for that either.
