We aren't racist you guys
lol, JK, we are the racistest
We love black people and they love us back
but we rough ridin' hate Puerto Ricans.
The south is not as racist as the north.
OMG SEE?? As soon as we get up north the overt racism just comes out. We can't help it.
Here's the problem up2...the kid wasn't crossing a border nor was he working in another country...he just "looked like" a nationality that are profiled every single day by everyone...unfortunately, including me sometimes but never out loud and never at the expense of our University...If you don't see this then I guess I'll settle for dumber than hell...which, by the way, is usually what racists are
Made the front page of Yahoohttp://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/ncaab-the-dagger/southern-miss-band-chants-where-green-card-puerto-205326741.htmlDON'T eff WITH AMERICA'S TEAM YOU GOD DAMN RACISTS
Hernandez and K-State had the last laugh. The Wildcats defeated Southern Miss, 70-64.
It was stupid maybe. But what's racist about asking for a greencard? That's not racist, that's just asking if you're legally here. Most countries have legal ways of entering. So to me, labeling this racist is just being oversensitive. Labeling it stupid is probably true.
wait hang on timeout, people are actually trying to defend asking a puerto rican basketball player where his green card is?
"We deeply regret the remarks made by a few students at today's game," she wrote in a statement issued two hours after the game. "The words of these individuals do not represent the sentiments of our pep band, athletic department or university. We apologize to Mr. Rodriquez (sic) and will take quick and appropriate disciplinary action against the students involved in this isolated incident."Rodriguez was spelled incorrectly in the original draft.
http://www.eaglepost.net/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=29908^^^non stop racism/denial. Only took a few posts to get the obligitory "I've got friends from other countries! How can I be racist!?!?"Still waiting for my account to be confirmed so I can tell them what an embarrassment to America they all are.
I'm sure Barack Obama will now take time out to make a personal call to the kid to make sure he get's a Presidential apology.
It's funny how the U.S. gets accused of being racist and bigots when overall we are one of the most tolerant nations on earth. I think a lot of people need to travel outside the U.S. just so they can actually see how great a nation it is vs. letting it be defined by the media. About the only nation I know that is as tolerant is Australia, and hell that's like being in the 51st state (or maybe 58th according to Obama). Ask a Fenchman what he thinks of a German or German of the French, or French of British or British of French. Get these guys to agree to anything in a meeting and you've accomplished something.
If it were up to me, Wintz would be on a fan scholarship, full ride.
