Reading between the lines here, but I think D Scott was caught off guard because he made an assumption about how Mike was leading his life and I think the D Scott is upset that Mike is using weed.  So that might have been the same assumption by the university…and frankly nobody in any logistical or travel department is ever gonna say “hey just in case the dude has weed let’s have him fly out of a different airport.”

KSU watched him be high for like 24 hours before he went to the airport. Simple as supplying him a trash can (lol) to throw away whatever is left when departing the hotel.

Friend works at the airport and the issue was that he kept it in a jar with a metal lid that got caught on the metal detector. Still, wtf, pretend you don't know what's in it and have him throw it away if you're TSA.
