Didn't know where to put this: http://www.kansascity.com/2012/03/12/3486234/freebirds-restaurant-chain-starts.html

Anyone ever had this? It's fairly close to my mansion and want to know if I should try it. Thank you.

If you don't get rice does the burrito leak all over?  seems like it would.

i'll be honest, it does get a little leaky.  not all over, but it doesn't have the scummy crap rice to soak up all the flavor either so its' 100% better than rice tubes.

not a huge fan of the rice but I get mild, green and red salsa so I feel like I need it to soak some of that up :frown:

i think it's the beans that bring all the moisture into the burrita.

i don't know why they started calling them burritos.  it should be burrita.

Chicken Burrito **double wrapped**
Pinto Beans
Lettuce
Tomato
Corn (very good)
lots of cheese (also good)
Side of chips
Mild Salsa
Dr. Pepper
**Sour cream is awful so none of that**

Why?

Also, the rice is the best part.  eff the anti-rice crowd.
Gives me more control of the burrito.

They should offer some kind of bread that comes with it rather than rice to soak up the juices at the end.  Do mexican people eat bread?

Anyone who doesn't get fajita veggies I assume is a picky eater who thinks onions are "icky" and their favorite food is probably grilled cheese on white bread.  Get the fajita veggies people.

I generally love peppers and onions but seldom do from Chipotle.  Think I didn't care for them, for whatever reason.  Probably will try them again in the near future.

Can't believe only SD and I have the balls for barbacoa.

i went barbacoa the last time (last night) i went just because of this post decided to try it, ended up being the best burrito i ever had:

burrito
rice
black beans
barbacoa
hot and green salsa
lotsa cheese
sour cream
a little lettuce

Also, he was a close stander so that was annoying.

Bowl
Light on the brown rice (usually about one level spoonful) *pro tip - always go brown rice, it's healthier and it tastes the same because, well, it's rough ridin' rice.
Pinto Beans
Chicken
Tomatillo & Corn
Cheese
Side of guac *pro tip - if you get guac, get the side.  They give you more and charge you the same...and you can decide how much to put on.

That's probably what I get 50% of the time.  The other 50% I mix it up with barbacoa or carnitas and maybe black beans.  I would eat the carnitas every time if it was as healthy as the chicken.  LOVE me some pig.  :fatty:
