If Weber took over for Kruger would he accomplished what Self did?  Would Kruger accomplished what Self did if he stayed?

oh yeah. that school is also in a major conference and over the course of twenty five years before the "amazing" coach showed up, average over twenty wins a season and went to the tourney 16 times.

if you mean could weber inherit an incredibly athletic potential national championship team at Illinois and turn it into a team that barely gets out if the first round in three years then yes. all available information would point to him being able to do this.

and if your question is, can kruger go coach at a school the level of Illinois or kstate and in five years get them to an elite eight. then yes. again, all available information would point to him being able to do this.

I challenge you to find more than 3 major conference coaches the last 30 years who won 75% of their games, three conference titles, and has an elite eight, sweet sixteen, and a second round appearance in their first three years.  I dumbfounded as to how this is even remotely debatable.  It's not amazing so it should be easy to find coaches that have matched or bettered it.

Roy won a title his second year at UNC, all I can think of, I'd appreciate the help.  Like I said should find plenty who can match it, I'm likely just not smart enough.

Wow I had no idea Kruger won multiple conference championships at K-State, all these years I thought he didn't win any.  Hmmmm, the more you know.  Thanks Rick!

What happened Kruger's third year at Illinois and what are we going to say to minimize/excuse it?

I never said that he did, but while we're on the subject of things that didn't happen you should probably bring up that national title that self won (would've) at Illinois again. do you think he puts it on his cv? do coaches have cv's?

I liked the part where Beems said Self would've won a title at Illinois, and 3 or 4 more in the next 20 at Kansas, but then said 1 more at Kansas.

You can't read.  I said Self probably wins one at Illinois the year they went 37-2 and almost won with oscar F*cking Weber as head coach.  Self already has one title at Kansas, and I said he could have 3 or 4 by the time he retires here if he stays another 20+ years.  I said he'll win at least one more.  Dipsh*t.

But yes, you f*cking re-tards have all convinced me that a program with less conference titles, Final Fours, championship appearances, 4-star/5-star recruits, McDonald All-Americans, wins, 30-win seasons, etc, etc. is a better program than Illinois.  JFC, goEMAW is a cesspool of idiots these days.

Beems.  You act like I can't click back a page and quote you.

Self would have won a national title in 2005.  Took him four years to win one at KU.  He'll have about 3 or 4 by the time he retires if he sticks around for another 20 years or so.

Wait, so would Self have won a title in 2005 or is it probably?  Will he have 3 or 4 or 1 at Kansas?  I'm guess I get confused because you constantly contradict yourself.  You said 3 or 4, then 1.

In order to get to 3 or 4 total you have to have at least one more, idiot.  And I think Self wins with his own players and his own team that he recruited that happened to go 37-2 under oscar Weber.  I'm not contradicting myself at all.  You guys are just a bunch of delusional hayseeds who have no objective view of reality.  You suck.  Hard.

I'll give you an objective view of reality.  Self has 1.  At least 1 means it could be 1, maybe more.  If only 1 more, (gets out calculator) then that would make his total 2, not 3 or 4.  So to get to your magical number of 3 or 4, he needs at least 2 more.  Good God are you really that stupid?

And I really don't give a crap.  Just pointing out that even in simple math, you're all over the place.  You have filled this thread with Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) dribble, contradicting yourself with Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) illogical ideas.

But it's good to have you back Beems.  It really is.

You know, now that I think about it, the KU football job is totally on par with Wisconsin.
