Lots of pathetic-ness on our part today, but I will admit that Baylor is supremely talented compared to us. That being said our physicality and aggressiveness typically make up for the talent gap. Today neither was there. JO is really the only guy that deserves some praise.

Pierre Jackson is tough to keep in front and our bigs just did not help in that regard after he blew by whichever guard was on him.

Also, surprisingly, Baylor's switch to man to man (for what seemed like the entire 2nd half) really was a good coaching move by Drew (I hate typing those words).

We'll end up an 8 or 9 seed, which is better than most on this board ever thought we would be...

I disagreed with the Tay has no spot on a legit team.
I said he doesn't have a spot other than what he is for us currently which is a spot minute undersized 2 (because we have no better option)
He's show to be a better shooter than Will over most of the season
Will's a better shooter, you know that
he doesn't turn the ball over compared to Angel
They don't play the same position, he also doesn't bring to the table what angel does at his position
and he doesn't look like a dumbass dribbling the ball like Shane does

He drives with authority and has the physical skills to go right at post players, where the other 3 don't (Angel can at times).
Angel is much better at driving and seeing his players on the drive. I like Martavious attacking the basket.

Martavious can't guard his position depending on the matchup. He's too short to be a consistent 2 guard defender. Will and Angel are good on the ball, Martavious isn't
The optimal 1-2 is Angel/Tay.
Would like to see it in action to make a judgement. Could be good depending on matchups

I think Tay deserves about 22-25 minutes.  In conf he’s averaged about 17 minutes.  I’m not sure what difference that makes.  But Tay deserves more minutes and Will less. 

I think the issue with Tay getting more minutes is that he’ll get exposed (this is some weird thing called diminishing returns, I think) with more minutes because he’ll have to play (longer) with a lineup that might not fit him or where he he's not "protected".  For an example of this, see soph Will Spradling.

At what point in the season do we admit that Will ain't coming out of his shooting slump? In his limited minutes, Tay has proven to be a better shooter. 45% (Tay) compared to 36% (Will) compared to 36% (Angel) for the year. If you guys want to keep arguing about which defender sucks the most, go ahead.

I would have called someone saying that last year a dumbass too.  It's a new year though and Tay is shooting a higher %, has more confidence, and is not acting like a general all-around pussy with the ball.
