Will Spradling might be the worst starting guard in the history of the Big 12.

he is def. in the running for worst soph. starting G.
Like I said, Will's shittiness will never surprise me again.

Until further notice, it's who he is.

well our stupid rough ridin' coach keeps playing him 30 minutes per game

We really aren't winning any hearts and minds at the KC Chamber.   K-State basically comes to town, has a cup of coffee and maybe a sandwich, goes and takes a dump at mid-court of the Sprint Center and then heads back to Manhattan.

Hard to be KansasStateCity when you don't spend much time there.

Will hasn't improved in a single statistical number in conference from last year, Shane and Jones will pass him in the off season, maybe crazy Frank is preparing Will to be the six man for his senior year, I have no idea how Will progress offensively beside shacking his slump.  :dunno: Only thing that makes sense

I'm concerned about this.  Not that angel won't get better, but how much by next year?  I dunno.  If there was any year for frank to hit a Pierre Jackson in the spring, it would be this year.

I'm fully comfortable with Angel playing 30+ minutes/game next year and I think it will be "good enough". Hope to see more from Jones, too.

I'm surprised that the first Jones reference in this thread came on page 6.

If people want someone to replace Will, Jones is the guy that's going to do it.

My vote is for Mellinger.  Frank peaked 3 years into his career.

K-State has missed on too many of its top targets recently, and the whispers around basketball circles grow louder about the best players wanting to avoid Martin’s style.

Hilarious that anyone would think Sam Mellinger is privy to the "whispers" in any inner circles in any sport.

the idea that the "best" players wanted to play for frank (after our dca connection went bad) is an absurd statement.  mellinger brings up some valid points in regards to what kansas state can be, however this team appears to be his floor-ish.  which isn't bad.  however it was the floor without injury.  The '13 class, imo, will decide whether frank can do better.

Lamont Evans might be a badass, who knows, in his first year he has landed Upshaw a top 50 recruit and he is going have enough shoot at Malcolm Hill in 2013 another top 50 recruit, also I would say it is complete unfair to say we are not still building are program.

Agreed, this absolutely looks to be the floor for a Frank team. Of course the ceiling might be 2/3 more Big 12 wins. I can live with that.

BTW, I considered blaming yesterday's loss on you for your ridiculous optimism going into the game, but I decided against it.
