Did DB thrusters today in a workout for the first time in a while.
Thrusters are one of the hardest cardio movements.. No one can change my mind on that

Anyone tried that mastic gum?
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

I don’t have TikTok, but Indonhave a 13-year-old son.

Peanut butter chowder is great for smoothies.  In my most gymrat stage, I would do PB chowder, carnation instant breakfast, banana, greek yogurt and milk.

I'm a green smoothie man, myself. Kale, lemon, ginger, apple, maybe some things I'm forgetting, and the coup de grace is chia seeds.

Peanut butter is overrated.

We had a WOD a couple of weeks ago that was EMOM x 10 min: 5 thrusters + AMRAP pullups. The rx for thrusters was 135#. I scaled to 95# and the thrusters still broke my mind and body. I had to sit out minute #8 to breathe and only got 22 pullups in (none after minute #4)

I do a smoothie every morning for breakfast. Do blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, pineapple and then fill the rest with one of these juices. I sometimes do diary free yogurt too. Do in the single serve container thing on my ninja.

I used to like a good smoothie to pack in a bunch of good stuff like that. I don’t do it anymore mostly cause of effort but also cause I have no reason to think I’m deficient in any particular nutrients and smoothies are generally known for being bad nutrient delivery systems cause of all the sugar involved.

Just eat a little bit of a lot of different things is pretty much the ideal diet for people who don’t have a specific goal in mind

As an aging joco super stud I joined HotWorx at 135th and nall.  I kind of dig it.  Don't like the rowing, the bike is amaze and the hot warrior is my fave workout.  For the first time since I joined I hung out after the staff went home - it is 24 hour but unstaffed after 7 and it was great.  Lift weights, do the 15 minute bike, finish with hot pilates.

my only question is does the infra red light actually do anything?  Or is it just a sauna with the gimmick of infra red light?

I know you're not talking about 'clams, because he's a young man, but the "signs of getting old" thread really needs an entry about hanging out naked in the men's locker room, sauna, etc.

Was this in response to my post because there is no lockerooms at HW.  You work out in a wood room with supposed infra red light.  130 degrees.

Now, the gym at the Westin club is a bare ass on the bench haven.  I still cannot make any sense of it even as I get older
