Macros are hard, you guys.  I am having a lot of trouble getting enough protein and carbs without doubling my grams of fat. 

Also, slamming protein so much is keeping me from being hungry.  I am ending up with like 25-30% of my calories left in the day, but feeling like I have already ate two or three time that when I wasn't even close to hungry.

It's tough.

Just starting the macro thing.  The ridic amt of protein will prob push the daily cost over a bill.   

Not really sure what a day looks like yet.  I know that I am predisposed to low carb, evidently.  Eating what I want, I only get like half the carbs, or less, than the macro Calc says I should have.

It was an honest question. My biggest hurdle between where I am now and where I want to be is not being able to purchase all the protein I need.

I was going down this route and was feeling kind of crappy.  Not purposely avoiding carbs, but just taking in as much protein as possible.  Talked with a nutritionist and made an effort to take in a few more carbs.  So far I am feeling better.  I still try to take in as much protein as possible (shakes, bars, chicken, etc.), but make sure I get a few more carbs.  So far, feeling better.

I though you were just kidding.  As far as protein,  I am using Quest mix.  It was like $35 for enough to make 34 shakes.  Each shake is like 26g or so, iirc.  I cook a lot and batch cook for the week on sundays, so I am used to buying large quantities of chicken, pork chops, etc and pre cooking them for lunches, so that is how I keep the cost down.  We eat at/from a restaurant once a week or so, other than that it's me cooking.  That makes a really big diff in food cost.  We do that for something around $300/w for a fam of 4.  We eat pretty good too.

Met with my trainer last night and she upped my protein another 30g  :surprised: .
