I think I'm done working out. I haven't been to the gym in like two years after being an every day guy and I did not get incredibly fat. I think I will be fine.

Congrats

I am not going to be happy when we go on vacation and he can't even walk down the beach without getting winded.

Just remind yourself how not incredibly fat he is, and how not incredibly fat he will continue to be as long as he sticks to the plan.

One of my staff challenged me yesterday to split a 40 mile bike ride.  She did 21 miles and I did just over 20. Felt great to be on a fairly flat trail in yesterday's weather.  I hadn't ridden in a couple of months, but was glad to get back on.

Thanks. I hope to continue riding and golfing late into fall.  Plus am training for the usual Rock and Roll in Las Vegas in mid-November. Life is good!

I downloaded a free app by Rubtastic called Road Bike. Am anxious to get on a trail tomorrow and track my speed and mileage.  Not riding for speed but would like to know my pace.

A welcoming thread if you choose.  Also if it's not strava it's not for real!  :Lurk:

I think the question at hand is did you have 3 on one side with 4 on the other, or 7 on each side?

Before work. I'm old. I don't sleep late. Might as well be productive.

Happy to report my hip sled workout weight is up to 410#.  If only my bench press would climb like that.

I prefer working out early, but my schedule makes it where I have to do it after work if I am going to be consistent at all.

I mean, I could get up earlier, but I would have to get up at like 4:45am to make it work and even then, I would be scrambling.
