I use Skullcandy Titans.  They are really good and have a cord that is slightly longer than normal buds, so you don't get the pull from your pocket or neck when doing a bunch of full body stuff.

I also have a pair of Forte Audio Impacts.  They are the best buds I have ever had.  I care less about the titans, though, so I use them more often in the gym, and my Impacts more often for work.

you can put notifications on silent and still have media audio.

I also need to buy one of those arm band things to hold my phone, but I am getting a new phone in September so I am holding off.

I just leave my phone in the locker and use a little shuffle.  My primary concern with the phone is that I break it and cost myself $600, where a new shuffle is $50.

I think I'm done working out. I haven't been to the gym in like two years after being an every day guy and I did not get incredibly fat. I think I will be fine.

gym treadmills are notoriously un-calibrated. Who knows, could have been 10 miles.

They are only $40, which is a lot cheaper than all the other bluetooth earbuds at Best Buy, so I guess we will see how they last.
