Back to hook grip vs mixed grip.. IMO I think you will put up heavier dl weight with the mixed but the hook will be more beneficial in other lifts

most people aren't going to be out deadlift their hook grip, especially if they train using it regularly.
we can't all be 1%ers that is true

My back squat improves most when I squat twice a week. One day is low volume, high intensity and the other is high volume, low intensity. I don't do much olympic lifting, a lot of it is technique. you've got to be strong all over for that. IIRC, it's front squat for C&J and back squat for snatch. Sheiko is the best program I have ever ran to increase overall strength.

I'm 93% certain Metalhead can squat 2 times more than me, also 96% sure I can bench 1.25 times more than him, combine us into 1 human tho, omg.

I don't think that's really possible without having some large technical issues with your back squat.

yeah its probably issues such as stiff lower back, ankle's, etc. I had all of them plus shitty glutes and hams and just all together suck.

I can out squat it sometimes. When it gets heavy though I tend to slow down rather than bouncing that ass out if the bottom of the squat

I used to worry about my knee's going past my feet and being too wide at the base and all that stuff until I realized it's just rough ridin' broscience nonsense and if you're tall that's just going to happen. I got to where I didn't feel pathetic for not being able to squat and I haven't really tried to go up in weight since then. Just do lots of sets of five a couple times a week and make sure you go low.
