Question about Sec. 17.  How many goEMAWers are there in that section, ballpark figure?  How hrd would it be to basically overtake the whole section?

yes, it is.  I think it would be pretty fun to attend with young goemawers.  It would also be basically free.

I made my donations for FB and BB next year so I can upgrade to donor seats for BB next year.  I'll put sec. 17 down as my preference of the $240 range in my upgrade request.

began my post college life as a 17er.

gave it up and have been donation free ever since.  currently residing in section 1.

1. there are something like 10 rows of bleachers at the top of 17 that are non-donation.

2. Get 17's rather than student tix.  17's allow you to walk right in as late as you want without your 30 yr old ass having to camp out to actually get in the game.

3. 17 needs an infusion of EMAW.  It has been overtaken by the lazy, tuckish, and the well mannered.  What was a rowdy area last year has become a place for the old and meek.  Buy in and bring your friends if you like to fist pump, boo, and generally be loud and angry.

We're scattered all over 17 to the point where we're not really at all together in 17.  I mentioned Saturday I'd be willing to downgrade my seats a little if it meant getting more centralized with other goEMAW'rs.

Yeah, I traded into them from something like 26 last year and was unable to retain them.  I had to up my donation a couple hun and ended up a couple rows in front of last years'.  Was either that or the base line.  Worth it.

Also, regarding the pak explosion, I think recent events have made everyone realize that people on this board are a lot closer than we think. Or maybe we're closer than we're willing to admit to ourselves, since it's on the internet and for whatever reason that's considered creepy (it shouldn't be). I think it's apparent to everyone now that we are friends, and watching a game together and drinking a brew would be a good time.

Oh man, EMAW baby is amazing.  Winters will be turning over the site to him in 20 years or so.  The lil 92'rs are fine, just not fully EMAW'd up yet.  They take a step back in their EMAW every year when we play Hays in an exhibition game.

Edit:  If you are considering putting your name in for sec. 17, you might as well try to request the first two rows of sec. 18 while you're at it.  Everyone around me is pretty horrible so I'd welcome some more emaw down there.
