This is so much pressure! What if I make a bad first impression and we become arch enemies? Is it primatist to throw bananas at a monkey?

Bananas are too obvious.  Get a bag of Runts and leave a trail of those.  He will probably only take the bananas (leaving you the better ones) and you won't be a primatist

everyone knows about cairo weasels.  i have a better plan.  catch the monkey, say it's yours and you're going on holiday.  sell it for le5000 to le15000.  whatever you do, don't take it to the zoo.

Felix, please capture it and teach it how to use twitter.  Then create @GEmonkey. And turn him loose with a old Samsung SIII

So boss that his opponents jam satellites to try and shut him down. And Egyptians are pretty hilarious, anyway.

The monkey was a pet. It turns out that escaped monkeys are not at all uncommon here, as they are popular pets.

So I met Bassem Youssef today. What is it you say about celebrities? He was so down to earth. But srsly, he's a nice (or at least charming) dude.

Egypt court sentences 528 Morsi supporters to death

:users:

Pretty rough ridin' efficient. Also, the judge's last name literally means "the butcher".

Oh man, well suited names would be a fantastic thread for combo season.  I know a chiropractor that is named Dr. Pain.  Also knew a barber named Harry.

****ALERT ALERT****!!

For those of you planning a summer get away to Egypt's beautiful Red Sea, the five-star Hilton resort just had its license revoked by the Ministry of Tourism!

In all seriousness, a British lady was raped by a security guard a few weeks ago, so the minister is trying to take legit steps to reassure tourists (he shut down a four-star place, too). He always looks so sad when he's on TV now. Meanwhile, Egyptian media has assured us all that the CCTV shows that this lady was DRINKING ALCOHOL UNTIL TWO IN THE MORNING AT THE HOTEL BAR!!  :dubious:

were you able to have a conversation with him? Or was this just a meet and greet quick in and out sort of thing?
